FUTURE FLYERS: INTRO TO HOCKEY FLEX CLASSES FOR 3-13 Y/O 

The Skatium is introducing a new format for our introduction to hockey classes by providing skaters with a 10-class pass card or the ability to do drop-ins (no cards needed), giving skaters flexibility on how often they would like to attend class. Punch Cards are $125 and valid August 2023 – August 2024. Drop-ins are $15/class 

Skate Rental is $3.00/class (and not included in the punch card)

Classes are offered on the following days: 

Thursdays 

4p – 4:40p 

Thursdays 

4:50p – 5:30p 

Sundays 

10:40a – 11:20a 

Sundays 

11:30a – 12:10p 

Sundays 

12:20p – 1p 

 

Equipment is available for use.  Required equipment for this class includes: Helmet (with facemask), elbow pads, shin guards, hockey gloves and a stick.  

Please be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your ice time to allow time to check in and put on equipment. 

RESIDENT DISCOUNTED FEES   
Residents of Skokie, as well as residents of Morton Grove, Lincolnwood and Golf (per park district reciprocal agreement) receive a 10% discount on all individual registrations. 

REFUND POLICY   
Unless otherwise noted, prorated refunds -$5 service charge can be requested through the first three weeks of the program. Refund requests will not be honored after the third week of the program. A full refund -$5 service charge can be requested before the program begins. 

 

FUTURE FLYERS HOCKEY PROGRAM

Beginning Learn-to-Skate Hockey Classes  

Future Flyers is for youth players with little or no skating/hockey experience. Future Flyers begins learning how to stand on skates and progresses through basic forward and backward skating skills. Required equipment for this class include helmet with facemask, elbow pads, shin guards, hockey gloves and a hockey stick. Players are encouraged to have their own equipment; however, we do have equipment available for use at no charge. Skate rental is an additional charge of $3.00 per class. A pre-loaded (10 rentals) skate rental card is also available for purchase.

CLASS SKATE RENTAL PRE-PAID CARD- Purchase a Premier Skate Rental Card at the time of registration good for a minimum of eight rentals and receive Rental Skates for only $2.50 per class.
